Installer quick start
A successful installation is more than connecting cameras: the customer should see a trustworthy, actionable first AI event.

Verify the network
Cameras or the NVR must expose RTSP. For ONVIF discovery, keep the host on the same LAN/VLAN.

Install and start
Install the app, activate the license, and choose an inference mode. On-prem mode keeps raw video on-site.

Connect cameras
Discover through ONVIF or paste RTSP URLs. Use camera sub-streams at multi-camera sites.

Set missions and notifications
Give every camera a clear mission, configure Telegram, Slack, or a webhook, then verify with test video or live footage.
Common field issues
- No ONVIF discovery: VLANs often block multicast; use the RTSP URL instead.
- Choppy multi-camera operation: use lower-resolution sub-streams.
- False alerts: narrow each camera's mission before changing notification policy.
