Not by default. Watch is an AI monitoring and event-intelligence layer. It can connect to compatible video streams while the existing recording system continues doing its job. Confirm the exact camera, recorder, and network path during a pilot.

Which enterprise CCTV cameras are compatible?

The current connection path uses RTSP video streams and supports ONVIF discovery for compatible cameras. Codec, credentials, network access, and the exact stream URL still matter, so compatibility should be verified with representative cameras before rollout.

Can the AI video analytics run locally?

Yes. Inference and event data can remain on customer-controlled hardware. Remote model providers are optional, allowing each deployment to choose its privacy, latency, and hardware tradeoffs.
